MICRO-AIR ASY-364-X36-BLUE Easy Start 364 Soft Starter, 3 Ton With Blootooth

  
Designed for use in 100-250 Volt AC 50/60 Hz applications. Supports Marine Air Conditioning Units ranging in size from 9K BTU to 20K BTU. Includes a 40 inch harness.

Enclosure is IP65 rated and measures 7.64 In. Long x 3.58 In. Wide x 2.5 In. Delivers 65-75% start current reduction as compared to a compressor's LRA (locked-rotor amperage).

Easy Start divides the starting load which reduces the starting current by 65%-75% as compared to a compressor's LRA (locked-rotor amperage). Supplies power to the fans/blower first and the compressor second which greatly reduces the initial power surge. The reduction in startup current can allow a user to run two AC units on one 30 Amp cord (Easy start required for each unit). Adding the Easy Start can allow a user to add additional AC units to their vessel without having to upsize the generator. Compatible with Pure or Modified Sine Inverters.

IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTE FOR CRUISAIR® MARINE CUSTOMERS ONLY: When installing EasyStart into 220-240V SMX A-288/282/281 control applications that use the triac to switch power to the compressor, it is necessary to replace the triac with a relay. If the triac is not replaced, the EasyStart and any pump relay triggers may suffer damage and ultimately fail. A replacement relay specifically designed for this application is available (ASY-503-X2D). Please note that this is not required for 115V SMX applications, and the triac is still safe to use.
